Analysis of Bioactive Compounds in Nabeez Water

Dates (Phoenix dactylifera L.) are a unique fruit because they have many health benefits. Ajwa dates one of the that people interested in for ingestion. Making date-infused water or nabeez is technique to ingest as exemplified by Prophet SAW and believed benefits digestion. As result, there has never been any research on analysis active compounds from water, particularly themselves, so goal this study was determine content well total based qualitative quantitative analysis. The tested qualitatively quantitatively using phytochemical tests UV-Visible Spectrophotometry. results show contains ingredients flavonoids, saponins, alkaloids, tannins, according analytical results. showed concentration flavonoid 5.749 g/mL tannin 52.934 g/mL.
